Residency Program for Creation, Research, and Experimentation, Providing a Human, Technical, and Logistical Framework

The residencies at La Centrale can emerge from conversations with an artist or respond to a proposal from one of them. The format of each residency is designed by the group based on the needs of the project.

Each resident is welcomed and supported at different stages of the collective work. Over time, our experience has allowed us to establish certain practices:

1. Presentation of the artist to the team.
2. Presentation of the project and organization of the timeline for the stages of implementation.
3. Presentation of the residency’s progress to a group of collaborators.
4. Closure of the residency and creation of an archive.
