We believe in the power of ideas. From them, our work teams and the spirit that drives the development of our projects are born. Most projects are coordinated by Vivi Méndez and/or Dado Amaral.
Artist
Vivi Méndez is a Chilean visual and performance artist based in Paris.
Her work intertwines poetry, performance, visual arts, and textile practices.
Vivi Curtis is a Chilean visual artist and performer based in Paris. Her work brings together poetry, performance, visual arts, and textile practices. Through the project Découdre des Patrons, she explores a new approach to sewing as a critical and collective tool, aiming to rethink the symbolic and social structures of clothing. In parallel, she develops research on individual mythology through her alter ego Curtis Putralk.
She has founded several art spaces and collectives in Paris, such as galerie Bref, La Casa Povera, and currently La Centrale 22 and Panamérica Transatlântica, an art and carnival collective based in Rio de Janeiro, of which she is the founder and artistic director.
In the editorial field, she takes part in projects related to poetry and the artist’s book, and is currently collaborating with the French publishing house éditions MF on the creation of a collection of contemporary Chilean poetry.
